Our Center.

The Northland Islamic Center(NIC) in Whangarei is managed by Northland Muslim Community Charitable Trust (NMCCT) which is a registered charitable trust in New Zealand under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957.

• Our center is located at 11C Porowini Avenue, Whangarei, New Zealand 0110 (rear property) for daily and special prayers.
• We have facilities available for both ladies and children. Please note, currently we only have one toilet in the center.
• Friday prayers are conducted at 1.30 pm all year round.

The members of our community come from all parts of the world. We have on-going projects to renovate and improve our centre facilities and we are actively looking for funds.

We condemn the tragic and inhumane act that took place at the New Lyn Mall in Auckland. Our prayers and thoughts are with the victims and families of this heinous act. Our heart felt sympathy is with the victims, their families and the bystanders who witnessed this act.
